Year in Review

We are committed to the long term success of our customers and are constantly finding new ways to improve the software and services we provide. 2011 was a fantastic year for providing additional value to our customers through continued innovation on a number of fronts.

2011 marked a big enhancement of our fuel delivery management processes. Our new “Delivery Center” functionality has decreased the time it takes to manage delivery tickets, routing, and make drivers more efficient in the field.

We made improvements to our Service Packing and Upgrade processes and have put a major effort into moving some of our first customers to the latest version of Cargas Energy. We have made significant investments in the quality of our software and want customers to benefit from that effort. Moving forward, fixes and small features will be rolled out in optional (but recommended) Service Packs.

Companies using Cargas Energy 2011 will have the benefit of the upgrade process to Cargas Energy 2012 being no more difficult than our Service Packing process; however, there are some new features in 2012 that may require additional training. Specifically, our bulk transport customers that leverage Cargas Energy’s built in Wholesale functionality will see some significant changes and improvements.

We also rolled out new ways for our mobile devices to communicate with the meters in the truck – wireless/bluetooth! This was prompted by our continued focus on providing cost effective, rugged tablet options in the trucks, as well as evolution of the tablet market, which is changing every day!

2012 will be marked with continued innovation. We have a number of exciting things we are working on to ensure Cargas Energy will continue to improve at a rapid pace and Cargas is the solution for the future of this industry.
