Worley & Obetz, Inc. (W&O) recently selected Lancaster based business software and consulting firm Cargas Systems to lead the implementation of their new business management system.

W&O began their search for a strategic technology partner in late 2006 after experiencing rapid growth and several acquisitions. With over 350 million dollars in annuals sales, W&O recognized an immediate need to make improvements to their existing disparate systems to ensure future long-term success and commitment to their highest priority: customers and employees.

After the evaluation of top industry providers, W&O selected Cargas Energy software and Microsoft Dynamics GP financials. “Throughout the selection process, our goal was to find a flexible and adaptable solution to support our needs today and well into the future,” says Seth Obetz, Vice Chairman of W&O. “Cargas is providing that solution as well as a personal level of dedication to the success of our project. It was an easy decision.”

Scheduled for completion in August 2007, the integrated solution will provide access to key financial and operational data across W&O’s three branch offices. In addition, the solution will significantly reduce administrative overhead and manual processes, ultimately streamlining the overall process of daily operations through the use of mobile and wireless technologies.
